May is mental health awareness month. What do mental health care and the science of awe have in common? Birds. Join us as Dave Edson, an experienced and passionate educator and naturalist, leads an all ages, all experiences easy stroll through the woods of Pittsfield’s Wild Acres Park. Dave will lead the group in a Mindful Birding approach to learn about local birds and how by (re)connecting with nature, not only can we improve our physical and mental health, but we can learn about helping our planet. Everyone, and we truly mean everyone is welcome. Please bring binoculars if you have them. BNRC has a handful to loan as well.
