Events

Enjoy a short walk through the woods while reading Call me Tree//Llámame árbol by Maya Christina Gonzalez. In Call me a Tree readers join a child on a journey of self-discovery. What does it mean to be like a tree? For one young child, it all begins as a tiny seed that is free to grow and reach out to others while standing strong and tall—just like a tree in the natural world.

This StoryWalk is in partnership with The Support Network, an organization whose mission is to support families whose children have mental health needs by broadening knowledge, building resiliency, reducing isolation and stigma, and imparting hope through the sharing of lived experience.

While the audience of the book is K-4, the content is great for all ages — even adults!
