Kids need to know what ecological restoration is because they can take an active part in it! With simple descriptions, colorful pictures, and a hopeful tone, A Kids Guide to Ecological Restoration will introduce children (aged 6-11) to ecological restoration, including summaries of some of the largest projects going on worldwide and examples of how anyone young and old can get involved in restoration – in their backyard, school or local park.

The StoryWalk® will be on display for a self-guided adventure from April 1st–30th (dawn to dusk) at Old Mill Trail in Hinsdale.
Directions
From the center of Dalton: take Route 8 south to the Hinsdale line. From the town line, continue 4/10 miles to a left on Old Dalton Road. The trailhead parking is the first, immediate left, across from the Hinsdale Trading Company.
